Message Hi Ash,

First I need to clarify something. I am going to be on "PINKS ALL OUT", not just "PINKS". There's a difference.

"PINKS" - 2 racers in a best of 5 for pink slips (Not me, never!) I love my car.

"PINKS ALL OUT" - As per the speed network web site - We invite up to 450 grass roots drag racers to qualify for a shot at the final PINKS All Out 16, where competitors race for the lion's share of an $18,000 overall purse ($10,000 to win) and a new NAPA tool chest. Hosted by creator and executive producer Rich Christensen and produced by Pullin Television out of Los Angeles, the television show rigors its on-air technical advisors (brothers Nate and Adam Pritchett) to select a field of 16 cars based upon a subjective elapsed-time grouping determined through two time-trial sessions. Prior to each Saturday sho ot, racers will have the opportunity pre-register their race cars and take part in a Friday test n' tune.

The PINKS All Out at-track experience offers a variety of exhibitions and competitions, providing on-track activities throughout the Saturday shoot. In addition, a midway area provides local vendors, manufacturers, supporters and local groups to elevate its involvement and showcase their wares or talents, offering a variety of entertainment reminiscent of a 'county fair.'

"We started out producing a television program and in very short order we've found ourselves in the event business, attracting upwards of 400 cars and drawing crowds sometimes in excess of 25,000 spectators, many of whom have never before attended a drag racing event," said Robert Ecker, SPEED VP of Programming and one of the show's Executive Producers. "As such, we are working very closely with each of these tracks to forge a partnership that will provide the best possible entertainment experience for fans, for competitors, for sponsors and for the viewers at home. It's been a blast so far and we're only getting started."

In brief Ash, there will be 400 cars there at the event. Yes, I am one of 400 at this televised event. As we make passes throughout the day, they will find 16 cars that run very close to each other, that will give the crowd a good show. These 16 cars then go heads up until they get down to the final 2. During this breakdown of the 16, each racer is given $500 in cash to bet on each race. When they get down to the final 2, the winner in best of 5 walks away with $10,000 cash. That's it. Absorb all of this and get back to me. There could be as little as no exposure to incredible amounts of exposure. I strongly feel that my car will be getting a good bit of attention due to the fact that they rarely have any nice or fast imports showing up to these events and when they do, the crew gets very interested.

This is all about coming out and having a lot of fun, with the possibility of achieving greatness.

PS - I can drive her well, very well. :)

Thanks!

Tony Z.
